I picked up the full size XCR tactical 308 yesterday, Pulled my SPS tactical out of the AICS and moved it in along with the Leup VXIII LR scope, First group out of the box was 1/2" with loads from my SPS tactical, 165 SGK's for hunting. I tried 168 SMK's over some Varget and got a fair 5/8" 5 shot group, but I think it will do better, I have to head back to the sandbox in a few days so I will not get to really wring it out to see what it will do until next time I come home.

They are nice sticks, does yours have the milled out spot on the bottom with a square looking barcode dotted in?

I just got my Compact Tactical this past Monday. My Burris scope should be here this coming Monday and next weekend I am going to the farm to do some turkey huntin and I can only hunt until 1 pm and the rest of the time I'll be behind the gun seein what it can do. I got to do the breakin prior to. What did you do to break yours in?

My friend has the 300 WM version and his has this mark also, its right behind the front screw hole underneath.
