As promised, here is my latest load for deer season. These 4 groups are all with Vitavouri 540. It burns clean and seemed to give better velocity. The data is on the targets. I'm going with the Berger 130 VLD for this season. I will break out some Scenars and matchkings after the season. I know there is much more accurate stuff out there, including my LSR 7mmWSM and the .22 pictured here. Also I started with the 120 Barnes TTSX with a clean barrel, the dirtier it got, it seemed to shoot better. By the way, I'm not a very good shooter.

Looking good! My 6.5 grendel AR 1 in9 twist liked 123gr lapua with 28.5gr of Win748, other peoples AR's liked 29.5gr of Win748. Mine were set .011" off of the lands.

If i remember corectly i read somewhere there was a load with N530 & berger 130's, probably from the original articles from Arne Brennan. If you are interested in the article send me a PM & i'll try to find it for you.

If you are not on the grendel forum, look over there for load data. There is a sticky with members loads in them.

When i wear out one of my bolt gun barrels i may rebarrel it into 6.5grendel; still have some brass & tips left. I currently have my AR grendel up for sale locally, tired of cleaning semi's.
