This summer my 6 BRA should be getting finished up. Has anyone ran the PVA and ARC mag combo? If it runs reliably, id prefer that setup. If not, any thoughts on the PVA vs Primal Rights kit for the AI mags?

I use an AICS mag with the primal rights kit and the Core/Seekins +2 follower with my 6BRA. Been having good success with it so far.

While I haven't tried the PVA mag kit, I don't like that the follower on that design has to ride up a "trough" on the spacer. IMO, more chance for debris to catch the follower and prevent it from traveling upwards. I want the follower to be as friction free as possible.

I don't think PVA or anyone for that matter has made a spacer kit for ARC mags. My experience is the ARC's nose dive dasher/BR when loaded up with 10 rounds. It feeds my SAUM and creedmoor great though.

HRD was working on an ARC kit, but I haven't seen it for sale yet.

Primal Rights and AICS has worked really well for me. Tune and polish the feed lips on the mag as well.

According to PVA's site, they do have an ARC kit

I run ARC mags with the MKM followers in my Dasher and BR perfectly....no spacer necessary. Have been running this for a year now without a hitch.

Also ran AICS mags with the PVA spacer just fine. I just prefer the size of the ARC mags now and only use those nowadays.

    what action are you running?

I ran 6BRA in ARC mags for about a year. They fed fine with no spacer, but once they got dusty they locked up (not the follower, the internal case geometry). AICS mags with the Primal Rights spacer also worked well. I've currently switched over to AW mags running the HRD spacer kit and those feed the smoothest of all the options I've tried. Bighorn TL3 action with AW cut.

The HRD kits are the best out there in my opinion. Also, I think AW mags are the best too!

x2 or x3 on not having ARC mags work consistently in field conditions. I was finally bit enough times, and painfully enough, that I said never again.

I am currently using a AICS/Primal Rights and AW/HRD combo and like it. The AICS is slightly smoother for me, but of course gets in the way more often.
