Yesterday went out checking range data as I have been lazy to confirm! First time I have recorded anything like this, so go easy on my editing skills!!!

What I found is both 308's with Shooter App plus chrony data matched very well, but 6mmSLR did not. Much flatter than expected. Chrony averaged 3005fps but to line up with software needed to plug in 3140fps. Something wrong, but from 100m zero I needed 2.4mils to 500m.

Cheers

Looks like a fun day! Great guns, great range, great shooting, what's not to like? There were some great vapor trails captured, as well.

Now you just need some steel.

Mate

The funny thing is the steel plates were in the back of the car, just the area I usually go was to wet and didnt want to risk a bogged car! There was no way I was walking the plates up the hill where I was shooting!!!

I was just looking at the through scope pictures I took, and zoomed in can see a bit more. Maybe for fun I will post them up and see what you guys think are the sizes of the rocks which were getting shot!!

First one. 605m. M40A3 clone!

Second. 640m. 6mmSLR. It was one rock before it was hit!
