DD ROSS trigger guard

My shooting partner just picked up a McMillan A4 with the DD ROSS inlet. He’s going crazy trying to find one.
Here’s my question? Will the Badger M4 (hinged floor plate) bottom metal fit the dd ross inlet?

No, the difference in footprint and profile of each bottom metal will make it so one will not perfectly fit into the other without slight stock work. But it should not be a big deal for any decent smith to mill out the stock as needed, get the proper spacing with the right height pillars, and fill in any gaps with bedding material.

I have a handful of NOS/unused DD Ross short action M40A3 bottom metal. I'll dig them out when I have time and see how many I have. Only need 3 or 4 of them for builds, so I can sell whatever I don't need (and for a less money than the 2 that are currently listed in Gunbroker). I'll look for them this weekend.
