Suppressors Dead air nomad 30 vs crux nemesis 30

What one is better for a first time suppressor buy or what model would you recommend

If it’s just between those two skip the Crux. I have several of them, amongst a bunch of others, I’m a silencer junky.

I’ve stuck up for them when people call them junk because they absolutely aren’t, but there are much better options from companies with infinitely, INFINITELY better customer service.

You are one of the first non fan boy owners I have meet. Where do you think they fall short?

Physically they’re fine. I’m satisfied with the performance and I’ve run a couple of them really hard for a lot of rounds and they’ve been ok. With one exception.

Where they fall short is:

1: the rear joint leaks gas like crazy for the first few hundred rounds. Will chew a suppressor cover to death in a single day of shooting. Ask me how I discovered this ? it will eventually stop or they’ll fix it which brings me to

2: their customer service is pretty awful now. It used to be good but they have taken upwards of ten months to return a can to me, without returning a single call or email during that time. I had to basically burn their Facebook discussion group down in order to get a response. I won’t even get started on the odyssey of actually getting my can back.

I wound up with a few of them because my local store is a dealer and gave me cans for extremely low cost, and they’re light and they do work. But I’ll never buy another one and I’ll consider them dead if any of them ever break.

If I had it to do over again most of my rifle cans would be TBAC instead of just the two I currently have.

I actually feel bad because I’ve recommended them to people in the past and I’m worried those people will get jerked around like I was because of my recommendation.

Run from Crux. Terrible QC, CS, and sub-par products.

Dead Air Nomad is the new hotness, only reason to get anything else generally is if it is going to live on a bolt gun in which case I'd get a TBAC.
