Rifle Scopes Decent scope under the 1000 Euro ($1300) range

Hey guys,

I'm getting into rifle shooting (paper target) over here in the Netherlands, and I'm looking for a good scope to switch out with the 4x28 Hensholdt currently on my FN 30-11 .308 rifle. Nothing wrong with the 4x, but I plan to get out to 600+ meters eventually, as well as needing a good scope for any other rifles I'll get later, so I'm looking for suggestions on what to get, with 1000 Euro being about the absolute max I can spend(so preferably less). Already looked around some, and there's a bunch of stuff that looks good, but I'm curious what more experienced shooters can suggest to me?

Viktor, I have no idea on what they tax US made stuff on the way to you.

Are your best options likely European made glass?

Well, scopes can be imported just fine here, but I don't know about the US export laws

But not like I'll buy some mysterious scope from some guy on a forum anyway

I don't ever recall reading anything about exporting US Optics scopes. He would have to pay taxes to customs and thats it if not wrong

Well the guy that posted before has a nice scope. But I bought a ior on here used gen 4 and love it. It cost me 1200. I think this would be a good option for you. Just keep checking this sight cause you can find some really good deals. Nightforce is good and U.S. Optics. Hendsolt. Schimdt and bender and all of those but are very expensive. Try vortex as well. Hope this helps.

There's some US brands available here, and I know people who have ordered others from the US, so that's definately an option (don't think the tax is too steep). But a good Euro-brand is just as welcome too.

For 1300 US dollars. I don't think you can beat NF. They cost a little bit more than that but you should be able to find a very good used one for that.
