Rifle Scopes Decisions,Decisions Need Help Please

Im looking to purchase the entry level sniper package from Snipers Central. I would like to know your thougts on the scope and rifle. Thanks.

Base Package .308 Remington 700 SPS Varmint
MK2 fully adjustable stock
20" barrel
the swivel version of harris bipod
Not sure if to go with the Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15X40MM tactical with mildot reticle or the Leupold Mark AR 3-9X40MM T2 Knobs Mildot

What do you all think on this deal for $1580 and which scope should I go with? All options are raising the price but the final should be the price above.

Not too familiar with rifles but would like to get into it and I dont have the cash to go expensive. Got 2 mortgages and its killing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely agree with Hydro556. When on a budget, go used and your dollar will stretch much further. Most used rifles on here are kept in VERY good condition by their owners, and usually have <1000rds through the barrel anyhow.

I recently got my first set-up (scope,mounts, dies, brass, bullets, mags, sligs, etc etc) on this site and couldnt be happier. I also paid less than I could find anywhere else. Read all the articles, esp the ones on this link, before asking any questions to limit the ridiculing. It has pretty much been my last several months. dont expect to get much else done tho!!
