If this is a no, no Sorry. I'm not paid by them or anything I just really dig there in ear stuff.
Ok, I have fought off the custom in ear bug for a long long time. While at shot show this year I came across Westone/Cens booth. I stopped and chatted with for a few minutes and all was well. I was told to contact them a few weeks after shot for more info and perts and such Jeff Ipson is a great guy to chat with and answered ALL of my questions. I had tons of them. I'm sure he seen my number email address he took a big sighsss before answering.. SO, I finally talked myself into getting some custom in the ear hearing protection DX3's. I must say, The process was way easier that I thought it would be. I had to have a custom mold done of my ear canal and ear. I called a local audiologist 40 bucks and 20 minutes later I have the molds. I mailed them off to Jeff with the colors I wanted and a few other details and a week later the custom in ear DX3 was at my door.

The Dx3 are amazing.... Looking back I should have bought these years and years ago... There well worth the shekels. I have used mine for a few range trip with rifles and skeet. They work perfect and a very clear when listing to shooters talking. when they stop the shot sound is so fast you don't realize the DX3 did anything, but they do. The ear mold fit perfect and DO Not hurt your ears or make them sore after a few minutes. I have worn them for hours and hours and they are nice and comfy.I have went thru the volume and modes. I keep mine at around half volume and on range mode. also if there just in your ear and not turned on they are better than the foam plugs, so that is a bonus. The batteries are very cheap but last a lot longer than I thought they would in these. I'm at 200 hours and there still going strong. That just works best for me. I;m now hoping to get these for some of the skeet shooters I work with.
Here are a few pictures of the DX3 and i'll add the info from westone's web page also. and if you want to ask question or order some tell Jeff [email protected] I Sent you.

The new and improved DefendEar DigitalX (DEDX) series is our latest generation of custom, digital hearing protection. One of our brand new models to be introduced in this line, the DX3 features three digitally optimized programs or “modes” for users to choose from, which include: Clay, Game and the all new Tactical mode. The DX3 offers the same digital rocker switch that is featured with our flagship DEDX model, the DX5, and is available in our full range of metallic color choices. The DX3 also utilizes a digital “Auto-Save” feature, so your personal user settings that are in place when you turn your DX3s off will still be in place the next time you turn them back on. Just like the rest of our DEDX models, the new DX3 comes with an extended two year warranty and is CE EN352 certified.
    1. CLAY MODE - Outdoor Clay Range. Optimized for a faster rate of fire with other shooters firing nearby, leaving the user exposed to more prolonged loud levels
    2. GAME MODE - Outdoor Game Shooters. Following a gunshot, the device activates reducing output levels to keep the shooter safe from harmful noise. The sound level then immediately returns to normal, allowing the user to hear approaching quarry.
    3. RANGE MODEL - Outdoor Fast Action Shooting. Reduced low level gain minimizes irritating sounds like those caused as a shooter runs on gravel or dry grass for example. Following a gunshot, the device activates reducing output levels to keep the shooter safe from harmful noise. The sound level then immediately returns to normal, allowing the user to communicate with their team.
All programs have been optimized for general conditions as each name suggests, however as every user’s perception of sound will vary, each user will find that the programs are also suitable in a range of different conditions or environments. The protection offered will not change regardless of users’ environment!
    VOCAL FEEDBACK
The DX3 vocally advises you which mode you are using, and updates you as you change between modes, ensuring the user is always aware of their selected mode. It will also alert you when you are at minimum or maximum volume levels. You will also hear beeps as you toggle through the levels in between. Vocal feedback is also given when battery power becomes low and critical.
    MUTE FUNCTION
The DX3 also feature a dedicated power button that doubles as a mute function, for those critical moments where concentration is key. The mute function is ideal for the competition shooter, some prefer the quietness of mute to allow concentration on their set up and preparation prior to calling a target.
    VOLUME & MODE AUTO-SAVE
The DX3 will remember your last set volume level and mode selection - even when the device is switched off or the battery is removed.

I bought a pair (older model I’m sure) several years ago and love them for the range or on a deer stand. I do not like them walking in cover (high grass and trees) bird hunting. They pick up so much noise from walking I have a hard time telling what other hunters are saying.

I have not used these for hunting yet, BUT walking thru the field skeet shooting the gravel/crunching sound I had with other in ear stuff is not in these.

I’m going to be that guy... does letting them know you sent me imply a discount? I love the idea of not wearing my MSA over ear pro for sporting clays but these cost almost half as much as my shotgun.

Yeah, I have never figured out why we spend 4K on this gun or that gun. Than a little as possible on hearing or eye protection. These are worth it to me.

A close up of how they fit and how tight they are. The custom ear molds are great. I wore them for 12 hours on the range and I had no sore ear or and ear discomfort. Plus I was able to wear my sunglasses's with out the muff driving the arms into my head or the shot gun lifting it off my ear right be fore the shot. These are truly worry free.

I believe that is where they are on, when there off I can not hear people talk just see there mouths moving. I have not tried to listen to a shot on off.. When ON I can hear them clear untill a shot happens then it might miss a syllable of the word when the suppress the sound. If I'm not mistaken the foam ear plugs are around a 22NRR . I'm not sure I would use these for much indoor stuff as they are borderline on the recommendation 2NRR for indoor shooting. Out doors they are great.

Did you pay 12 hundo for these? They better have some ASMR included for that much.

There worth every Vibrating buffalo nickle so far. and I'm hooked. I talked my self out of them for a long long time. it was the same way when I did my corrective eye surgery. Wish I would have done it sooner.

The DX 1, 3 or 5 can have a double use too. The have these too i'll get one day

Playing around with mine in the house . These fit like a glove and having the various modes is perfect depending on what type of shooting your going to use then for. Looking forward to some range time wearing them. I’m already wishing I would have made theninvestmebt

    couple more pics.

I have spent many many hours using the DX5's and I must say there really nice. I wish I would have spent the funds a LONG LONG time ago on them.
At the last guardian match @ GTi I had them in for 16 hours at a time for 3 days. No sore ears, I was able to hear all around me. I actually enjoyed wearing them

Not with them in my ears. I have left them on for 80ish plus hours at matches (in and out of ears) and they have still be good to go. I just take the batteries out for a long term storage and start fresh at the next shooting time.
