After trying 2 brand new rem 700 gen 2 rifles in 300 win mag didn’t pan out for QC issues, Remington cut me a check and we parted ways.
Current parts are a vortex viper pst gen 2 5-25, trigger tech trigger, and nightforce LA direct mount rings.
Ok here’s the first part, I’m ordering a defiance rebel sheep port, and I am at a crossroad. Should I go the traditional route with a barrel spun up the standard way or go with the remage set up. Pros/cons or experience from everyone is appreciated.
This is going to be a 300 win mag set up for hunting and occasional range trips to try and ring some steel. It’s my first non-off the shelf set up.
