Defiance Anti X measurements and opinions?

Hi,

Would someone be so kind as to measure the following dimensions on a medium (700 SA) action? Defiance wouldn't give them to me over the phone, unfortunately. I would sincerely appreciate it! I'm trying to see if the integral rail mount version will work for me/my scopes.

Also, how are people liking the X vs the normal Anti? Have the short rail sections proven to be a problem with any scopes and setups you’re running? I’d prefer an integrated scope base but I wish it was full length. I’m debating the Anti vs Anti X right now for a new build in an MDT HNT26 chassis.

I am getting 1.04”, 2.85”, and 1.80” measuring in a dark room with a scope mounted.

In my anti X the Spuhr fits the spacing but only 2 of the 4 bolts clamp so not a good option. No issues with and ring/scope combos I’ve tried.
Mine will also go in a hnt26. It’s been a very nice action so far

Great, thank you. Sounds like I’ll be shopping for rings. I know the ARC M10s are well regarded, what have you ended up settling on? I’m trying to keep the weight down where I can without compromising on quality. My scope will probably be on the heavier end due to this, so trying to save those oz where I can!

What possible reason did they give for not providing a corse dimension of the rails over the phone.

No reason, just said they do not provide dimensions over the phone and I should talk to the smith or dealer with the action. I found it odd too and it may have been a misunderstanding and perhaps they thought I wanted a dimensional drawing or something, but I had zero desire to press the issue as I was pressed for time. I’ll call again another time when I’m less busy and see if I get a different result, I found it silly as well. I’ll chalk it up to a misunderstanding until proven otherwise.
