Gunsmithing Defiance Deviant Extractor

I am needing to replace the extractor on a deviant sa. Is Defiance’s extractor modified or will any m16 type fit? Of it is modified so I order a new one directly from Defiance or is there a dealer that may keep them in stock? Thanks in advance!

Ordered mine from Defiance it was $18 plus $8 to ship. I think it’s standard because I couldn’t measure the difference. My 338 Lapua bolt face extractor went tits up with less than 100 rounds on it. I didn’t create a fuss just ordered one and got it a few days later. With their new system you have to create an account to make an order.

It will come with a pin and spring. You have to be “in their system “ to be able to process any payments, kinda like you are a company boing business with them. They sent me an email with a link to be able to create an account

All kidding aside. 100 rounds? Thats not good. I have 190 on a Defiance Deviant 338, no issues!

Yea don’t know what happened maybe bad heat treating because part of the claw broke off. I didn’t want to go through the hassle, I just got one coming. Well see how this one goes but it may be a while, I ran out of powder and now it’s hard to come by.
