Gunsmithing Defiance Deviant Tactical action and using a Stock with a REM 700 inlet

So I have a Manners stock inletted for a REM 700 LA action, that said, thinking or decided to go with a Defiant action, I've read that at the time of ordering if you tell them you have a stock inletted for a 700 action, that they will adjust your action accordingly sound right? ,and I'm hoping to only do some minor fitting? I've contacted the company but I'm hoping to get some real "end user" experience.
