Defiance tenacity CIP DBM 6.5 prc?

Hello all.

I have a 300 prc built on a tenacity with a Wyatt’s cut. I load 215s @ 3.720”. My rifle runs a single stack Wyatt’s bdl and runs great.

I want to update my rifle a bit with possibly an eh1a or prs2 to have a more prone oriented option. I am also looking at getting a 6.5 prc barrel cut as a lighter recoiling option for cheap factory ammo and thinner skinned game instead of wasting 215s on whitetails.

So.

1. Short action Wyatt’s cut tenacities need a feed lip notch to run binderless mags. Is this a thing with long actions? I’m assuming cip mags are binderless, this may be incorrect. Or will my Wyatt’s LA action work with CIP mags as is?
2. Has anyone run 6.5 prc loads in a CIP length mag, so I can switch barrels without switching stocks.

As an update to this for those looking defiance says you do need a feed lip mod to run Cip mags on a long action Wyatt’s cut

I think I’m just gonna run the 6.5prc switch on the Wyatt’s cfe-12 I already have and not worry about dbm
