Sidearms & Scatterguns Deltapoint Pro battery life.

Anyone have a experience with the Deltapoint battery life while mounted on a handgun? Will annual battery changes suffice like an RMR or changes be much more frequent?

I am considering playing with having one of these mounted to a p320 and can't find a lot of info. But from what I can find if you are carrying probably more like a couple months of battery life. But still tempted as I seem to pick up the delta point faster than the rmr.

If it is nightstand and occasional use than heard several claim one year between changes.
