New here from the fields of SW Georgia. Long time shooter, short time competitor. I have only been in 3 PRS club matches, and so far I am hooked. I have currently shot at Core, in Baker Florida. It is the closest place to me. They have an awesome range, and always have very friendly staff and ROs.
I shoot a savage stealth in 6.5 creedMOOR. (I dont know why people spell it "moore" or "more"). If I were to start over again, I would never entertain the idea of buying the savage. Great shooting rifle for shooting off a bench and when you have all the time in the world, but for tactical style matches, not so good. For anyone looking at the stealth for these style matches, I say look away. I will be glad to talk you out of getting one if you ask.
Anyone have any info on Arena Training Facility in Blakely, Ga? Do they ever do PRS style matches? Always looking for more opportunities to meet shooters and shoot steel.
Looking forward to learning from the more experienced guys and finding new places to shoot.
