Desert Tech SRS A2 chambering question

so can someone explain to me the chambering process on a desert tech barrel? How does the barrel extension connect to the barrel? does the barrel extension come threaded if so or is that all need done when chambering the barrel and thread it to fit the barrel extension

Thread the blank to accept the extension(which is threaded), then chamber as usual. Are you about to do one yourself, or just curious?

Edit: There are some other elements at play, but that’s the gist of it.

yes were thinking of doing it ourselves. we chambered barrels for tl3 with no issues just not sure cause of the barrel extension
