If you've wanted an SRS A2 with a full length rail, give us a shout.

No. This is a chase only. One with a full length top rail is $200 more than a standard A2 chassis.

Thank you. What would a 6.5 creedmoor barrel add to the cost? And, do you have complete A2 with a 6.5 barrel? Or, do you have a 6.5 barrel that would work on an A1?

    Appreciate the help.

How is the full length rail attached compared to the original A2
Early A2 models had the rail machined into the receiver. New A2 receivers have a bolt on rail system. This bolts onto the receiver and then uses MLOK mounts on the hand guard.

    Interesting, thanks for the explanation

Would be nice if the originals could be machined to accept the new rail system

I think it would be pretty costly to do. The A2's with fixed rails were made over a few years and there were different variations with rails that started in different places on the receiver. I'm not sure it would be something that could work on all the receivers either.
