Re: desert tiger - my latest camo job

Nice work. I did a viet nam type tiger recently and they are a bit of work, but the results are nice. I like your colors and the vertical stripes.

as always, nice work. have you seen the rifle with the nekkid girl camo? like the silhouette of the gal from the mudflaps on trucks. that was cool.

Re: desert tiger - my latest camo job

Thanks guys. I've been wanting to do something in those colors for a while. It's amazing how versatile those colors are.

I used Lauer's advanced tiger stripe templates for most of this job, which is unusual. They are so expensive, I usually avoid them. Plus, they don't stick very well. Because of that, I had to use some of my own design on the receiver and the vtac.

I was surprised how much work this job was, more than a good multicam even.

I do this semi-professionally, as time allows, for the guys locally...to fund my gun habit!

Looks great. What are you going to do with the lpk when you put it in? Looks like you left holes where you can paint the parts the base color, but just wondering.

It doesn't cost any more materials wise to complete one of the tigers, but it does take a lot more time and time is valuable.
