we can only hope that all manufacturers follow suit, including ammo manufacturers.
They have reduced what few shoppers they had to soccer mom's, and now, their husbands won't have a reason to follow them into the store.

it will not affect them until other companies who make Non-Firearm related products do the same.

The biggest impact I have seen, and I have seen it personally was when Vista was closed out of REI for their non-shooting brands. Vista buys ads on here and in February ordered new ads for 2019. In March they canceled the order because they were hit hard by this ban on their other products.

Not only should you refrain from using Dicks, you need to reach out to any other crossover brands that may not be gun related, but still has a Pro 2A stance. Only when companies, not gun related do the same will things change.

This is where companies like Yeti could have made a difference, by standing with firearm companies to say, No politics in business. Instead they tried scoring lame political points by dancing on the line.

The local walmart dropped guns about 3-4 years back, the total store volume the next year dropped by more than 14 almost 15%. Not that the store was selling that many guns, but by the follow on buys/shopping. They stock guns again.

It will effect them on Black Friday when they don't have a cheap Mossberg pump combo as a door buster and no one shows up.

I unsubscribed from their email list and when you do that you get to tell them exactly why.

Before this BS I actually read them and shopped there, now I won't.

I remember after they suspended sales on ARs after Sandy Hook and fucked over Troy in the process, their subsequent earnings report was littered with excuses upon excuses of why they missed projections by a metric ton as well as why they were quickly losing market share. It was everything from global warming made for less ideal days to golf this year, to there was more wind blowing from the east, to whatever dillusion bullshit. It was hilarious.
