I have the rig, and it isn't an IWB.

I have a Galco that got all loose eventually, I wear it flipped in like that sometimes if I need it to hug closer.

That's one reason to buy once, cry once, and stick with horsehide. It doesn't tend to "go loose" very quickly, if at all. Seeing as how that was straight from the maker, it was still tight.

Re: Did he ever figure out that it was inside out?

I bought some handmade mag pouches and holsters from a fellow in Lincoln City, Oregon that simply never wore out. I told him that his business model isn't doing him any favors as whenever I bought anything, it simply never wore out, so I never had to buy another one.

And this went for the duty gear that I used full time for 25 years, both on and off duty, and for match use. I used the same gear for all three.

So, the contention of right once, and cry once is wisdom that I will back up.

Exactly. I got that Galco when I first started for $15 at a gun show, it worked well for a good while. I use one of the kydex/ leather IWB holsters now, but one of these days I'll break down and buy a nice piece of horsehide from Milt Sparks or TT Gunleather.
