Gunsmithing difference in actions

I'm sure its been asked before but are there enough difference's in 700 sa that would require an action that has already been bedded to have to be skimmed again? I would like to buy a stock off the classifieds forum but want to be able to drop my barreled action in and go shoot it.

No two actions are exactly the same and a rebed would be a good idea. That being said if you have a way to check the stress in the bedding it may bolt up and be good to go.

Take it out and shoot it, you should get your answer then. If it doesn't work rebed.

You might be able to get away with it, but you won't be getting the advantages of a bedded stock. I'd eventually grind out the old bedding and redo it.
