Suppressors Direct Thread - rifle option

My brother just picked up his sandstorm and he’s a few months out from getting his custom rifle in. He found a factory threaded Remington 5R for a decent price but is worried the threads aren’t concentric and Gemtech says 6 to 8 weeks for them to verify once they receive his barreled action.
He wants to pick up a a cheaper factory threaded gun for now without worrying about baffle strikes.
Any recommendations?

I wouldn't be concerned about a Remington barrel. You can mount the suppressor and remove the bolt to look up the bore to see if it's centered or use a piece of drill rod to slip in the barrel to verify. Be careful if working up subsonic loads as some can tumble and cause a strike. Always test first without the suppressor to see it the round keyholes.
