Other than the obvious height difference, what is the potential impact of using either the high or low tang. Does it make a difference in lower receiver or handguard compatibility?
High pattern receiver = high pattern hand guard, and same for low. Cannot mix unless you're okay with top rail not on same plane. High pattern much more common with more available hand guard options.
