I am about a day away from taking delivery of my GAP10 in 308. I plan to put a S&B 3-20x50 on it. All my other rifles have canted rails, but the rail on the GAP is flat. Do I want to marry myself the elevation of a canted mount, or should I go flat in case I want to use that scope on another rifle? Also, would you guys consider the 5-25x56 instead of my planned optic?

Thanks,
Brian

I thought the GAP-10 came with a set of rings, that have 20 MOA cant. And yes you should use those.

I opted to go with a Larue mount, as the GAP mount was not QD as far as I understood. Canted base it is. How about the scope? I have a 5-25x56 with the p4f and love it. Will I miss that magnification on this rifle?
