She became a Denver politician. She cannot own a firearm but sponsored gun control legislation for something she can't touch.

Even though she cut it past the gas block and made it not a semi auto anymore it still could be a single shot SBR or even a repeater SBR by pulling the charging handle after every shot. Either way it was still a working SBR just not a semiauto at that point.

Kinda reminds me of a story I read quite a few years ago. Some kid who had just barely turned 18 had been given an old coach gun from his grandpa or some family member. It had the exposed hammers and double trigger. Anyways, he rigged it up so that both barrels fire from one trigger pull. ATF stepped in and labeled the gun as a machine gun because it fired more that one shot per trigger pull. Don't remember what legal actions came about, but it's such a stupid and silly story.
