Night Vision Does anyone have a NV bow setup?

I've done it. Had a laser mounted to my riser and had my pvs14 helmet mounted. It takes some practice and die hard bowtards will tell you that you must have your anchor point an release perfect blah blah. While if you're trying to Robin Hood shit maybe but an unconventional form and release works just fine. The laser is your aim point not the sight, pin and kisser etc.

now if you're talking crossbow. That's easy, ir laser on rail and done

Not a vertical compound, but yeah, I've done it on a crossbow a couple of different ways. I have an ATN MK410 5x gen 1 scope (yes, ATN. There, I said it.). I've mounted it to the the crossbow's scope rail and it works fine out to distances that exceed the crossbow's range. Well, its ethical range for deer. Pigs, I don't really care if I wound and don't recover. Definitely good out to 50 or 60 yards with IR. Have also mounted lasers to the xbow's day scope's tube using a mini red dot sight ring and use it with helmet mounted single or bino PVS14 set up. With both set ups, the range of the optics/laser outperforms the xbow's. For a pic of the mounting, see Joecassidy's post half way down this link: Anybody mount IR laser on a bolt-gun? How did you do it? - AR15.COM

If you're wanting to mount a laser to the bow, check out this on eBay: Laser Red Dot Bow Sight Fits Mathews Bowtech Hoyt PSE and More | eBay

I haven't tried it, and will defer to posters above that say the helmet-mounted PVS14 can be used with a vertical compound.

Use to have an IR laser on my bow a lifetime ago and used it in conjunction with a PVS14. It definately took some practice.

As Killswitch said on a crossbow it is easy and you could even mount a PVS14 to the crossbow. There are some pictures floating around the net of a guy who mounted a PVS14 behind a EoTech on one of the AR15 crossbows with a Torch underneath, it was pretty slick.

So on that ebay laser mount, wouldn't you have to dim it down for the Pvs-14? What does that take?

That's my pic from the ar15.com post.
I've tried just about every way possible to attach a IR laser to a compound bow. Mounting wasn't a issue, but getting a accurate POI every time was an issue. With riser flex, the laser will have to be adjusted at full draw by a buddy. And even then it takes a very consistent form due to torquing the bow and throwing off the POI. Not to mention this will have to be done wearing some sort of head mounted NV goggle. So normal form if out the window... This is the reason I went with a crossbow/laser combo.

I kill about 3 pigs a week with this set up. It's lethal!

You can mount dual vis/ir lasers on bows. Ive done it. You see it used a lot on fishing bows. Ive also successfully mounted an aimpoint pro on a bow using this: HHA Sports - Optimizer Lite Ultra - Bowhunting Moveable Sight of the Year I removed the sight, and put the aimpoint pro on it. Worked like a charm, reflex sight on a bow. Both work with night vision, and you can use luminoks to track the arrow at night.
