Hmm. That's definitely the correct account. Very odd though, I highly doubt the gentleman I know is scamming you on a $1400 scope. It wouldn't even be worth his time.

remcustom6 is legit. Good guy. Bought, sold and traded many high dollar items with him. Hope he isnt having an emergency.
I’ve also had many positive deals with RemCustom6 in the past on many items. It’s also hunting season for some, so may be an out-of-town trip or the like.
Definitely not a scam! I have been and still will be hunting elk in Wyoming for the next week. Service sucks in the mountains!
