Rifle Scopes Does anyone run RMR with a 1-4 or 1-6 scope?

Wondering if anyone runs a setup like this. Using a Trijicon RMR at the 1 o'clock position rail mounted or scope mounted. While using a 1-4 or 1-6 scope. If so please post your pics. I have seen many RMR's with 2.5x10x32 and up.

Thanks

I don't bother with RMR on my 1-4 setups. No need if you can back the optic down to 1x. I run an MGM scope lever (Quick view) so I can quickly move the scope from 1-4 and back. I do run RMRs on my fixed 3.5x and 5.5x ACOG setups and my other variable power setups that don't go down below about 3.5x. ...my 2 cents.

I quit running my RMR even only ACOGs. I worked pretty well but was largely not needed. I do like the offset on a sniper rifle for the boys in uniform.

1-4 set ups , no

Could be a few reasons. FFP reticles get very small at 1x, may not be illuminated or daylight visible illumination, so the RMR dot may be faster to acquire than turning down to 1x and then finding a very this crosshair.

Or...Coyote rig, watching an open field, scope on 4-6x range, coyote pops out of the brush 30 yards away. Yotes will pickup movement, so it'd be faster to throw up the RMR and put that dot on them then turn your scope down to 1 or 2x, find the dog and that thin crosshair in the brush background and shoot.

Is the RMR necessary? Not in all applications, but it could definitely be useful in some.

That's how I feel. Still torn on if I really want a 1-4 or 1-6. Might just go with a NF 2.5x10x32 and add the RMR. Then I am covered for both with no issues.
