I know some people are good and finding out hoax's / jokes but im not really sure how to....so does anyone know if this is true or not? Ive never heard of the website so that makes me question it......

The original is pretty easy to find, as there is a link at the very top of the article:

As clearly stated in the opening paragraph, it's a first-person account. Treat it accordingly. Also read through the comment section, as there are a variety of opinions expressed for and against the author's story.
