Anyone know of a bottom metal or action combo that uses a double stack magazine that will fit longer rounds (6.5 06, 280, 30 06)?

I like Savage, and for higher (10rd for 30-06 based cartridges as you mention) capacity magazines, I strongly suggest Darkeagle Custom. Dan Shumway is a treasured friend, and an excellent gunsmith.
