i used the krylon fusion camo (tan basecoat) then added green and brown using fake grass to make the pattern. hardest part was the prep work (cleaning/sanding/acetone application.) i practiced the pattern on a $10 toy gun to ensure the look i was going for.

look like an old school m4 rifle used by force recon. I still want to buy dura coat paint but I never find one at the store.

duracoat is usually easier to order from the internet. they make kits for like $20-30 with all the paint you need to do a rifle. i chose krylon because it was readily available and somewhat cheaper. duracoat will last a bit longer though.
