Show off your DPMS 6.5 Creedmoor.

I was just wondering, can a factory DPMS 6.5 Creedmoor in 24" 1X8.5 twist shoot 1,000 yards with handloads of 6.5mm 140 GR HPBT MATCH bullets with 41.5g of H-4350. I don't know the bullet speed. Has anyone try that already? Is it accurate? I wanna buy a DPMS in 6.5 creedmoor and hoping to shoot targets no more than 1000 yards. Maybe coyotes. If you guys have any pictures of your DPMS in 6.5 Creedmoor with information please post pictures.

I will appreciate any information given to me, or pm's. Thank you.

Re: DPMS 6.5 Creedmoor in 24" 1X8.5 twist at 1000yds?

The dpms in 6.5 is a pleasure to shoot at 1000yds, I have ran mine as a match gun and didn't feel the least bit handicapped. I have had consistent hits at 1100yds with mine running 140amax

You sure have a nice rig, what's the brand and power of the scope? How tall are the scope rings?
What reloading data to make those 1000 yard shots?
How big is your group at 1000yds?

Vortex razor, low rings on a badger 22moa rail, my load is really close to hornady factory loads and the weight is just shy of 87 tons!! It's a beast!!

Wow, that Vortex Razor is very expensive. But its worth every penny for a good size group at 1000 yards. I better start saving for a good quality rifle scope. I got the rifle I just need the scope. I should start looking around if I wanna make those rounds get to a target at 1000 yards.

How does the brass look after it is fired thru the DPMS? Is it dinged up from the deflector at all?
100% reloadable?
