Saw on smith enterprise they make 2 diff flash suppressors the 1000v and 1000v-noveske

Does anybody know offhand what the thread specs are on a LRT SASS barrel?
is it 5/28x24x0.730 or 5/28x24x0.630 I think most won't have an issue except the smith doesn't use a crush ring. Makes me believe the tolerances are a wee more important.

I'm not sure what the thread spec is on your LRT, but the vortex doesn't use a crush ring because you don't need to torque it down. The design of the flutes causes the unit to tighten every time you fire it. It won't fall off.

so its like the Mk 19... (self tightening barrel) interesting.
