DPMS GII Recon adjustable gas block help

I am new to gas guns and wondering what size adjustable gas block for a GII Recon and what brand you recommend? Part number? Sorry for the dumb question I can't find the right info using google.

I'm thinking its a .936? It's for my dad and he's 2 hours away, otherwise I'd just measure it

Check over at SLR Rifleworks. They make an adj GB (called the Sentry) in all common sizes. They're very effective. MicroMOA makes a very good adj block as well called the Govnah. Not sure what diameters it's made in though.

BTW, I'm almost positive the DPMS tapers that HBAR on the Recon down to .750" at the gas seat. Someone will have to confirm but I'm 95% sure you need a .750 GB
