The primer shortage and abundance of yahoos at the range have inspired me to look into a dry fire training system. I've been looking mostly at LaserHIT and iTarget. Anyone have any input here? Am I better off using a hybrid system or rigging up something else altogether?

I have about a 30 foot span in my house. I'd like to be able to use the system at that distance and if at all possible I'd like to use it for .223 and 9mm. I normally shoot ARs and a G17, but I also have a crappy SA/DA canik that could be used to get a little practice in.

I've heard of guys using cheap amazon laser cartridges and apps available online with their cell, but I haven't seen anything that seems great for what I'm trying to accomplish here.

    Any ideas?

If you're really serious, like Olympic level serious...

Or just go with an optical adapter for indoor use of scopes:
