I picked up my can in dallas the other week so figured I'd share my newly suppressed SRS.

The can is a titanium tac ops in 338. It feels a little lighter than its 308 counterpart in steel even though it's a bit longer. Serial number is blacked out but Mike lets you pick whatever you want which is cool. The thing might as well be machined out of a solid block of titanium, everything is a perfectly smooth surface with no imperfections whatsoever. I sent my barrel over to him for fitting which he timed the can so the engraving is perfectly aligned on the right side. The fit is also perfect with no wiggle room whatsoever as you screw it on so there's no chance of it coming loose. If it's anything like my .30 can I won't need any ear protection at all.

Unfortunately it's still a little naked, the sightron scope I ordered from scott is still in the apartment office since they decided to take today off...

Beautiful rifle and ti suppressor SpaceGoD! Yet another cool rifle that begs for a suppressor - a suppressor that I cannot legally own. At least I get to play with them on occasion. So far only the TAC .30 and old school CQB 5.56 but I'll take it.

Its' amazing how quiet the Tac Ops cans are - including the 4.5" 5.56s'. Be sure to post a range report after you've had a chance to shoot that bad boy with the suppressor!

Re: DT SRS w/ Tac Ops Can

Not sure how much I will be able to shoot it until the weekend after this. I have a 100y indoor range I can go to after work but that's kind of pointless.

The can was in the $2k range, I honestly don't remember the exact price. With the aac up near $3k I would consider this a steal.

The tac ops is also around 1.6" in diameter compared to 2" for the aac and about equal in length. Not sure on the weight though.
