Range Report DTA Barrel Twist Question

On the factory .308 DTA utilizes a 1:8 twist barrel to shoot both Std. velocity and Subsonics accurately , I'm wanting to get a custom barrel from Benchmark made but they only offer a 1:7.5 twist Would this still handle the full power loads and be accurate as the 1:8 ? or would it be too fast a twist ?

Well talking to Ron at Benchmark they can whip me up a 1:8 twist , just didn't have one on the shelf . BUT it will be 6 land ? Is this a concern ? Looks like a 5 groove is most prevalent ?
