E Dope Apple Compatibility update?

I just happen to have purchased an iPhone 11 before my last match, and a guy in my squad was using the E dope card from downrange System’s. He informed me it was only for android phones due to the data transfer technology. Later I find out the iPhone 11 has NFC capability.

Anyone attempt to use this e dope card with newer iPhone XS’s or 11’s and the kestrel app?

I’m still iffy on pulling the trigger on one and a little bummed it’s not compatible as of right now.

A month or two ago, Downrange Systems said they were working on/hoping for iPhone compatibility coming soon. So far there hasn’t been any more news or announcements about it.

I bought one based on that announcement. If it never happens, I’ll just find an old android phone to run it on.
