"E" reciever on savage MKII?

I have ask several questions bout converting to my new boyds. How do i know if i have E reciever. On snipershide google is talks about if barrel is heavy for 4" befor the tapere starts but mine is a heavy barrel. Boyds has the metal i am looking for but dont know if i need it for E reciever or standard. I know I am burning this subject up but I dont wont to buy twice and wait 4 more weeks.

It was my understanding that the newer MKII E-receivers went to a 1 5/8" ejection port. In the previous design the MKII was 1 3/8 and the 93 & 17 models were 1 5/8. I do not know of any other changes but I'm not guaranteeing this is the only one. Perhaps someone else can chime in and correct me if I am wrong or add to the difference between the 2. I do know that I have a new MKII and I have to buy the 1 5/8" ejection port EGW base for it. Hope this helps and good luck.
