Hello, i am considering buying a early model sp1. Above serial range 2000 likely and less than 6500. I want something that is orginal as it can be in excellent condition. I know that it should have a edgewater buffer, 3 prong flasher hider, no forward assist, no storage in the stock, it should say colt patent on the reciever, has a 12 stamped on the barrel. What i do not know is about the bolt carrier and markings. It looks like they should have a chrome bolt with a manganese phosphate carrier. With some kind of markings MP? What about the selector switch should it have the hole in it? The charging handle should be different too or not? I seen some with a trianglar shape. If anyone could please help i sure appreciate it. I did find a 4000 number but the guy says it orginal but it does not have the chrome bolt. I seen one on gun broker with a 5500 number and it did. I am totally lost on this, i have looked at retro black rifle, and every forum i could find about this, but i didnt find out what i need thanks again.
