Gunsmithing Easiest way to fix a chip on a stock

Im looking at buying a 700P stock that has no blemishes except for a chip in the bottom of the grip area. It's not a big chip, but it's hard to miss. What's the best way to repair/fill the chip? Can you use a Duraglass filler then sand and paint?

Send it back to HS-P, they will do all kinds of sexy things to it.

I would send it back to HS Precision and get them to repair it. When you get it back, you will not know that is was ever there. Had a couple of blemishes on a brand new stock once. I sent it to HS and they repaired it for free and ship it back to me on their dollar.
