American Airlines removed a mysterious gas mask-wearing man from a Houston-bound flight and rebooked him on another plane after passengers became panicked.

I would remove them too . not much is as fun as messing with people when you know you can . Expose your self to all those pesky bugs while traveling like everyone else or wear a dust mask that does nothing , useful with dust not so good with airborne pathogens like a 12 hr flight with all the bathrooms out of order ..

Medieval plague doctor mask, with modern P-100 cartridges or better in the beak, would be interesting for normal wear and will actually offer some protection. Make sure to strap on a GoPro as well and record the reactions you get...

Ha, ha.....Reminds me of my earlier days at the prison. Another officer and I, did rounds one night, after lockdown and had gas masks on and I had an old geiger counter that I picked up at a yard sale, that actually worked and we walked the unit and boy did the Inmates, the ones that were awake anyways, have questions for us and believe me, they're are some pretty wide eyed people awake at 0300hrs.. Back in the day when you could get away with shit like that. Took the edge off a 12hr. shift. One of my lighter moments. Mac

Around the time of the anthrax scare, a colleague decided it would be a funny joke to show up for work wearing a gas mask.

Company security and HR didn't get the humor, simultaneous full retard and full lockdown. He was escorted out and suspended until they determined his "state of mind."

I thought it was freaking hilarious. ?
