Curiosity got to me today and I had to try this out. This is a really easy way to get a very light trigger. I removed the rifle basix trigger from my Marlin 917vr and put the stock one back in. I then swapped the weight of pull spring with a spring from a pen. Not only did it work, it worked great! Weight of pull seemed to be about 10 - 11 oz. For safety's sake I cannot recommend this. Just posting results from a mod simply resulting from curiosity.
