I was at the Reno, NV gun show and put in my order for the new EDM ARMS VR-10 AR type SASS in .308 let me just say that rifle was one of the most well built ar's i have ever had the pleasure of holding. The upper and lower recievers were made by EDM themselves no armalite no dpms. The recievers fit REALLY tight together! He litterally had to pound the upper from the lower with his hand. They also made there own free floating rail, it comes complete with a magpul PRS stock and a 20" lilja barrel. The trigger was AMAZING seems like it broke CLEAN with no creep or any side to side movement at around 3 LBS. You know your getting a quality rifle when the guys at EDM make the windrunners! Cant wait to shoot it! Ill get the gun around December and remember the 1st 25 get the gun for $2,850 then it goes up to $3250....im number 8 of 25. Go to the EDM web site and check it out and let me know what you think!

Lower receiver may be their own style, but it clearly seems to be an Armalite pattern using the new style forward assist upper and Armalite mags. Rails closely resemble SWS and the gas block looks like a Larue. BCG looks like it could possibly be their own. I wonder what trigger they're using.

Re: EDM ARMS VR-10

They need to post some of the more important details on the rifles, including:

1) compatibility (Armalite, DPMS/KAC...makes a BIG difference for mags and other parts compatibility);
2) details on the trigger unit (is it their own, a tuned factory trigger, aftermarket, single or two-stage, etc.);
3) specs on the rail system used, etc.

$2850 (soon to be $3200+) is a lot of money to plop down for most people without more detailed info (except of course for those people who have seen/laid hands on them personally).

This is for anyone searching up the VR-10 and I know this thread is OLD! That was the worst rifle ever. Stupid heavy with steel receivers, they had m4 cuts on the barrel extension and not on the receiver, the thing didn't feed at all out of the mags...........probably one of the worst ar10's out there!
