Think about what you just said...

Re: Election results vs wait time

I'd probably pass on the can and put my gun money elsewhere if I knew for sure things were going to be significantly delayed or legislation was pending...and so I asked the question.

Does anyone have any insight?

Re: Election results vs wait time

I am almost certain there won't be any legislation that would mess with NFA items as they are the most regulated/registered types of firearms, politicians don't have any ground to stand on in regards to banning them. Besides, that's the BATFE's little cash cow. As far as wait times, they have been getting longer over the past 5 years +/-. The knowledge and popularity of NFA items has and will continue to grow. People are realizing that suppressors are legal :mind blown:. This growing interest in NFA is bitter sweet as it is flooding the BATFE's examiners (who could give a shit when or if we get our "permission slip").
I wouldn't wait with hopes that the turn around times will be shorter in the future. I myself am trying send in my first form 1 ASAP.

All that typing just to be beat by rhino by 3 seconds. Anyway, hope this helped.
