Elite Iron Bipod Mounting Issue

So, I bought an Elite Iron bipod for my AI AX, The bipod has a standard pic rail mount. To my dismay, I discovered that none of the accessory rails, (neither the 5" or the shorties with the flush cups) will mate to the bipod. The accessory rails are just too big in one or more dimensions to fit the bipod adapter. Oddly, the top rail on the rifle will mate to the bipod.

Any help or advise as to how I resolve this?

I have the AXMC which I assume uses the same rails.

The Elite Iron bipod fit nice and snug on one of the little short rail adapters. It was a bit snug, but worked well. I then just had to adjust it to pick where I wanted the tightening screws to hit.

You might try making sure it is really lined up straight with no pressure and then firmly pushing it on.
Unless something is out of spec on your rails or your bipod attachment.

Some times its too much cerakote on the rail

Just get a different key mod rail with no cerakote on it
