ELR Training and Academies in the USA

Are there Academy/School/Ranges in the USA specialising in ELR Target (not Hunting) shooting courses, including load development?
Must have access to at least a 1 mile range.
I've done searches online but wary of hype.
Any recommendations appreciated.
If I’ve over estimated the resources available in the USA, I’d settle for a suitable range I could use daily for a week or more. I’d need somewhere to do the load developments.

I'm building two rifles for ELR and KO2M. 33XC almost ready and 41XC next year.
I’d bring my 33XC, reloading dies and prepared brass (assuming the institution had reloading hardware available). All else would be bought in the USA while there.

There are no ranges in the UK where one can shoot any day of the week at ranges beyond 1000 yds and 1000 yds ranges have energy limitations anyway.
There are no institutions specialising in classroom tuition and have a range up to or in excess of 1 mile.
There two or three places run by single ex special forces individuals and I've been to two of them. They were excellent but lacked the facilities to be what one would call an Academy or School nor the range distance.
There’s probably more ELR shooters in one State in the USA than there are total individuals in the UK with full bore rifles, so there is no business model to set up a school.

Gunsite XLR class. Attended the class three times and if the wife would let me I would go again. Cory has an excellent system for calibrating rifles and calibrated my 375 Snipetac there in September of 2020.

A few options out to 2000 meters but I can’t think of anything past that.
Finding reloading components here is pretty tough at the moment so factor that in.

Hi,

PSA!!!

Do NOT forget the legalities and formalities of your desires.
Specifically the permit from ATF for temporary importation of firearms and ammunition.

THEN after that you will need to assure (Do not risk loosing your money by thinking the "Academy" already has done so) the training/academy has a training program permitted for Foreign attendees.

Logistically speaking you are easier to attend one of the more regionally based facilities such as in Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, etc

Sincerely,
Theis

Thanks, good to hear and was one that I earmarked as a possibility.

Thanks Theis.
Used to 'formalities' taking my rifles to Africa, so thank you for the ATF link.
I've not found anything in Europe other than Denmark's Coldbore Range (only Sat & Sun and two day trek one way by car from UK. No ferries.) and France's Le Camps Militaire de Canjuers but can find little about using the range, COVID notwithstanding.
Both are just ranges with no instructors.
If you know of somewhere in Europe reachable by car, I'd be pleased to hear about them.

Is that guy Richard Hutting still doing ELR in the UK?

He is indeed and the one I've not been to out of the three I mentioned. COVID has interfered but he seems more orientated to Hunting. I will see what he can offer but I'm really more interested in a string of 5-10 days and at $520/day shared or 1 on 1 $660/day would be expensive!!

I thought I'd round this thread off.
My post was seen by David Tubb and he contacted me.
The upshot was that I arranged to go to his range and also use his workshop for reloading, thus saving taking ammo with me (Airline 11 lb limit)
For various reasons I couldn't leave the UK until July, not the best time of year to be in Texas but it was either then or not in 2022.
I spent three days with David. I can only ask you to imagine how much I learnt. Never spent a more productive period in all my 50+ years shooting.
The 33XC I built, exceeded expectations. I need to shoot more different loads but all indications are that Structured barrel has no measurable nodes.
I have 2x 37XC and 2x 41XC rifles in the pipeline. So the other reason for my trip was to visit John and Jacob Baker at tacomHQ, who are turning the four Bartlein barrels in to their Structured barrels and to Bob at Mirage ULR to finalise the four chassis.
