Looking for a good LED Tac Light with 200+Lumens. Looking at the 3 cell Elzetta (made in the USA). Read all the company propaganda, sounds good. Anyone here have some hours and experience with their products?

Thanks
Joe

I have one and it's rock solid. I just use it for a normal flash light, where it lives in my truck. It's been dropped, banged around, used and of course has been unaffected. I haven't used it as a weapon light. I run a Surefire X300 on my Glock 17 and like it a lot. I haven't yet added a light to my AR but do see the need. Just haven't decided to buy a mount and use the Elzetta (and then buy another for a daily flashlight) or pick up another X300. I do like the X300's compact size and built in rail mount, which make it a tight and neat package, but at the same time, it is a dedicated weapon light. You're not gonna jerk it off and use it as a flash light. I like that the Elzetta can perform both roles if I need it to.

I've never seen a bad review on one that I remember.
