Our buddy is the guy who picked it out and sent me the link. Turns out there is this Armenian fellow in College Park Maryland who actually sells wood like that.... He drove all of his pieces over to the house and let me select what I wanted.

I think the next one is to have him make another stock out of English walnut for my other 687...

Be careful of it being too busy in the wrist,,,straight grain is preferred there for strength
